Our Darksword series was the first we created outside of TSR. It is a tale of magic versus technology, turning the Arthur Saga on its head and giving something of an answer to critics of fantasy.

Where did the ideas for Darksword come from?

Originally, Darksword was conceived because of a number of well-meaning but rather zealot Christian groups attacking TSR over the Dungeons & Dragons game during the 1980's. I wondered what a world would be like if wizards were the dominant spiritual force of the world and they were looking on technology as being evil. Ultimately, of course, the story became an inverted 'King Arthur' story (putting the sword back into the stone, etc.) but the original impulse for the story remained with it.

Will there be any further Darksword stories?

"Legasy of the Darksword" was our most recent release -- a fitting conclusion we believe to the Darksword series. If you have not yet had a chance to read that particular work, I would strongly advise you to do so! I think it will certainly be worth the trip.

Beyond "Legasy," however, we have no immediate plans to do additional works in this series. Perhaps later.
