my ipad have some display problems and i cannot fix the damn thing -’.
my girlfriend is going to give me an ipad on my birthday this month.~-*
Ahh Tracy…my wife can’t wait for me to get one! I’m in the process of moving several thousand sci-fant/fict books at the moment (for the about the 8th time) and my (now much older) back is beginning to agree with her!! Saves space & time..Not to mention from an author’s viewpoint, you should be all over this…no more used books showing up in half-price book shops (an no resulting royalties on resale for authors)..much harder to loan books..and as an added plus…many of us with the next generation of sci-fant/fi reading children will now be re-buying the books electronically to share with them (my son literally just this moment started reading Dragon’s of Autumn Twilight (paperback) and he is lamenting to have a copy on iPad (don’t know if its available yet)…so…look at it from the point of the pocket book…if you’re still getting royalties…rejoice!! As for me, my back is looking forward to not moving books in the future…though, I must admit, the impression on people when they walk into the library and see about 4 thousand books of the genre…not to mention a few thousand other books on various topics…will be lost on future generations…now the poor souls who will really be at a loss…those whom like to “smell” books…literally!!! I know several…oh the therapy sessions ahead for them!!
i am planning to buy an iPad since it looks lighter than a regular desknote and i don not use much of the features of a laptop.“.
